Swarovski Collector's Society has been in existence since 1987 when the very first annual edition was launched. Since then the Collector's Society has grown into one of the largest in the world.

In 1987 the Lovebirds were released as the first of the Caring and Sharing trilogy. The piece became an instant success and every year, Swarovski have released another annual edition. Each annual piece will be related to a three year theme, so 1987 through to 1989, saw Caring and Sharing. In the period 1990 to 1992, the Mother and Child trilogy, and so on.
